The Center for Joan of Arc Studies (Centre d'Études Johanniques) is established to provide online access to scholarly publications and other peer-reviewed historical materials related to the study of Joan of Arc and her era. The Center is a service of the Historical Academy for Joan of Arc Studies.
Recent Developments
09-21-05 - Stephen W. Richey joined the Academy. Mr. Richey is an army officer and author of the book, "Joan of Arc: The Warrior Saint".
08-24-05 - Mr. Robert Wirth was elected President of the Academy by a vote of the membership.

  • Journal of Joan of Arc Studies - The Academy's official journal, published quarterly.
  • Primary Sources Series - Periodically-published series containing translations, transcriptions, and manuscript photos of the primary source documents.
  • Joan of Arc Studies Series - Periodically published series containing essays and articles on specialized subjects.
  • Reviews Series - Periodically published series containing reviews and educational guides evaluating books and other materials on Joan of Arc or her time period.
  • Graphic Documentation Series - Series of books containing collections of photos, maps, 3D renderings, and other graphic representations of locations associated with Joan of Arc.
  • Re-editions Series - Re-editions of out-of-print and rare books.
Online Databases & Projects
  • Dictionary of Medieval French - A database of the language, focusing primarily on the 14th - 15th centuries, designed to provide a greater degree of detail than previously available in print publications.
  • Interactive Atlas of Medieval Europe - A database, intended for use by researchers, which will recreate as much of the geographic and political landscape of feudal Europe as possible, including 3D reconstructions of cathedrals and other structures as well as a detailed representation of jurisdictional arrangements.
